Arizona High School Basketball - Mountain Ridge holds off Hamilton

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ) and the visiting Hamilton Huskies (Chandler, AZ), saw Mountain Ridge's basketball squad hold off Hamilton by a tally of 63-62.

With the victory, Mountain Ridge improves its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Mountain Lions host Liberty (Peoria, AZ) to confront the Lions in a 6A Desert Valley challenge on Friday, January 13. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 3-13. Liberty lost 65-42 in their recent league challenge against Boulder Creek (Anthem, AZ)

Next up, the Huskies confront the Chandler Wolves (Chandler, AZ) in a 6A Premier challenge, on Friday, January 13. Hamilton will attempt to improve on its 15-3 season record.
