Hilliard Red Flashes (Hilliard, FL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Suwannee Bulldogs (Live Oak, FL), 57-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hilliard upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Red Flashes host Fernandina Beach (Fernandina Beach, FL) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 8-3. Fernandina Beach lost 48-47 in their recent non-league bout against Baker County (Glen St. Mary, FL)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Palatka Panthers (Palatka, FL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 18. Suwannee will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 7-9 record after their 58-31 non-league loss to Menendez (St. Augustine, FL).
