The Southwest Minnesota Christian Eagles basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots to 43 in the Eagles league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda for a A Section 3 contest on Saturday, January 14. Southwest Minnesota Christian will battle a team coming off a 54-18 non-league loss to Mountain Lake/Comfrey/Mountain Lake Christian (Mountain Lake, MN). The record now stands at 0-6.
The Patriots (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against White River (White River, SD). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, White River triumphed over St. Francis Indian (St. Francis, SD), 63-19, in a non-league contest.
