California High School Basketball - Homestead can't hold off Saratoga

January 12, 2023: Saratoga, CA 95070

The Homestead Mustangs basketball team (Cupertino, CA), was nudged 45-42 in Thursday's league battle with the host Saratoga Falcons (Saratoga, CA)

The Falcons now sport a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Leland for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 14. Saratoga will battle a Chargers team coming off a 58-36 league win over Lincoln (San Jose, CA). The Chargers record now stands at 8-4.

The Mustangs (9-6) will now prepare for their battle against Monta Vista (Cupertino, CA). The Matadors come into the Santa Clara Valley - De Anza battle with a 12-1 record.
