Virginia High School Basketball - L.C. Bird over Midlothian

January 12, 2023: Chesterfield, VA 23832

Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the L.C. Bird Skyhawks (Chesterfield, VA) and the visiting Midlothian Trojans (Midlothian, VA), saw L.C. Bird's basketball squad overcome Midlothian by a tally of 53-40.

With the victory, L.C. Bird improves its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Skyhawks travel to Massaponax (Spotsylvania, VA) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 14. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 8-2. Massaponax won 82-7 in their recent league challenge against Stafford (Falmouth, VA)

Next up, the Trojans confront the Prince George Royals (Prince George, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 16. Midlothian will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Royals come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 47-31 league win over Petersburg (Petersburg, VA).
