In Thursday's league outing, the Stearns Minutemen (Millinocket, ME) basketball squad edged the visiting Lee Academy Pandas (Lee, ME), by a count of 46-42.
The Minutemen (5-4) will now prepare for their outing against Mattanawcook (Lincoln, ME). The Lynx go into the C North outing with a 4-2 record. In their last outing, Mattanawcook held off Central (East Corinth, ME), 61-59, in a league outing.
The Pandas now hold a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Mattanawcook for a C North outing on Saturday, January 14.
