The Lockwood LIONS (Billings, MT) basketball felled the visiting Shepherd Mustangs (Shepherd, MT), 60-46 in Thursday's non-league test.
The LIONS (1-6) will now prepare for their test against Park (Livingston, MT). The Rangers go into the A Southeast test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, Park was beaten by Billings Central Catholic (Billings, MT), 72-19, in a league test.
The Mustangs now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Colstrip for a non-league test on Thursday, January 19. Shepherd will encounter a Colts squad coming off a 69-23 league win over St. Labre Indian Catholic (Ashland, MT). The Colts record now stands at 2-6.
