The Torres Toros basketball team (Los Angeles, CA), was overwhelmed 49-7 in Thursday's league battle with the host Maywood CES Wolfpack (Maywood, CA)

The Wolfpack now possess a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maywood Academy for a Southern battle on Tuesday, January 17. Maywood CES will confront a Nighthawks team coming off a 62-8 league loss to Bravo (Los Angeles, CA). The Nighthawks record now stands at 0-3.

The Toros (2-15) will now prepare for their battle against Elizabeth (Cudahy, CA). The Bulldogs come into the Southern battle with a 0-5 record. In their last battle, Elizabeth was overwhelmed by Marquez (Huntington Park, CA), 63-24, in a league battle.
