St. Augustine Yellow Jackets (St. Augustine, FL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Menendez Falcons (St. Augustine, FL), 62-43 in a league bout.

With the win, St. Augustine upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Yellow Jackets host Keystone Heights (Keystone Heights, FL) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Friday, January 13. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 13-5. Keystone Heights won 32-28 in their recent non-league bout against Bradford (Starke, FL)

Next up, the Falcons play the Palatka Panthers (Palatka, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Menendez will attempt to upgrade on its 10-10 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 47-7 non-league win over Clay (Green Cove Springs, FL).
