Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Mohawk Area can't hold off Neshannock

The Neshannock Lancers basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Mohawk Area Warriors to 50 in the Lancers league triumph on Thursday.
The Lancers now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Beaver Falls for a WPIAL 3A 1 contest on Monday, January 16. Neshannock will battle a Tigers team coming off a 58-53 league win over Ellwood City (Ellwood City, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-5.
The Warriors (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against West Middlesex (West Middlesex, PA). The Big Reds enter the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, West Middlesex was nudged by Lakeview (Stoneboro, PA), 41-37, in a league contest.
