Summit Storm (Bend, OR) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Mountain View Cougars (Bend, OR), 57-51 in a league bout.

With the win, Summit upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Storm host Bend (Bend, OR) to play the Lava Bears in a 5A Intermountain bout on Monday, January 16. The Lava Bears go into the bout with a record of 3-8. Bend lost 44-23 in their recent league bout against Ridgeview (Redmond, OR)

Next up, the Cougars play the Ridgeview Ravens (Redmond, OR) in a 5A Intermountain bout, on Thursday, January 19. Mountain View will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record.
