Wisconsin High School Basketball - Rice Lake knocked off by New Richmond

The New Richmond Tigers basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Rice Lake Warriors to 56 in the Tigers league triumph on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ellsworth for a non-league contest on Monday, January 16. New Richmond will meet a Panthers team coming off a 62-53 league loss to Prescott (Prescott, WI). The Panthers record now stands at 6-6.
The Warriors (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Superior (Superior, WI). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 14-1 record. In their last contest, Superior ran past Chippewa Falls (Chippewa Falls, WI), 93-39, in a non-league contest.
