Watchung Hills Regional Warriors (Warren, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host North Hunterdon Lions (Annandale, NJ), 51-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Watchung Hills Regional upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Warriors host Scotch Plains-Fanwood (Scotch Plains, NJ) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Scotch Plains-Fanwood won 46-34 in their recent non-league bout against Ridge (Basking Ridge, NJ)

Next up, the Lions confront the North Warren Regional Patriots (Blairstown, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 14. North Hunterdon will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 62-21 league loss to Jefferson Township (Oak Ridge, NJ).
