The NorthPoint Christian Academy NightHawks (Waxhaw, NC) basketball nipped the visiting Providence Classical (Rock Hill, SC), 61-56 in Thursday's league test.
The NightHawks (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Lee Park Prep (Monroe, NC). The Knights go into the Metro Area test with a 13-1 record. In their last test, Lee Park Prep got by Jackson Day (Charlotte, NC), 50-24, in a league test.
The now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Pointe Academy for a non-league test on Friday, January 13. Providence Classical will encounter a Mariners squad coming off a 41-23 non-league loss to Arborbrook Christian Academy (Matthews, NC). The Mariners record now stands at 5-3.
