Polytechnic Panthers (Pasadena, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Westridge Tigers (Pasadena, CA), 48-26 in a league bout.

With the win, Polytechnic upgrades its record to 9-7 on the season. The Panthers host Rio Hondo Prep (Arcadia, CA) to clash with the Kares in a Prep bout on Friday, January 13. The Kares go into the bout with a record of 11-4. Rio Hondo Prep lost 56-43 in their recent league bout against Providence (Burbank, CA)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Chadwick Dolphins (Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA) in a Prep bout, on Friday, January 13. Westridge will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Dolphins go into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 50-36 league win over Mayfield (Pasadena, CA).
