North Carolina High School Basketball - Union trounces Rosewood

The Union Spartans (Rose Hill, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Rosewood Eagles (Goldsboro, NC), 49-18 in Thursday's league test.
The Spartans (7-5) will now prepare for their test against North Duplin (Calypso, NC). The Rebels go into the 1A Conference 10 test with a 11-1 record. In their last test, North Duplin walloped Lakewood (Roseboro, NC), 45-26, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 0-13 record. They play next when they host Neuse Charter for a 1A Conference 10 test on Tuesday, January 17. Rosewood will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 48-41 league win over Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 9-7.
