The Sultana Sultans basketball team (Hesperia, CA), was overwhelmed 47-24 in Thursday's league battle with the host Serrano Diamondbacks (Phelan, CA)
The Diamondbacks now possess a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Hills for a Mojave River battle on Tuesday, January 17. Serrano will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 51-39 league loss to Burroughs (Ridgecrest, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-12.
The Sultans (2-18) will now prepare for their battle against Hesperia (Hesperia, CA). The Scorpions come into the Mojave River battle with a 12-7 record.
