California High School Basketball - Southwest EC knocked off by Vincent Memorial

The Vincent Memorial Scots basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Southwest EC Eagles to 28 in the Scots league triumph on Thursday.

The Scots now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Castle Park for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13. Vincent Memorial will battle a Trojans team coming off a 45-20 league loss to Sweetwater (National City, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 0-16.

The Eagles (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against Calipatria (Calipatria, CA). The Hornets enter the Imperial Valley contest with a 10-7 record. In their last contest, Calipatria was defeated by Palo Verde Valley (Blythe, CA), 48-41, in a league contest.
