Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Troy topped by Towanda

The Towanda Black Knights basketball team scored 40 points and restricted the visiting Troy Trojans to 22 in the Black Knights league victory on Thursday.

The Black Knights now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Williamsport for a non-league contest on Monday, January 16. Towanda will battle a Millionaires team coming off a 58-31 non-league loss to Scranton (Scranton, PA). The Millionaires record now stands at 3-6.

The Trojans (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Shamokin Area (Coal Township, PA). The Indians come into the non-league contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Shamokin Area was defeated by Central Columbia (Bloomsburg, PA), 46-15, in a league contest.
