The Walthill Blujays basketball team (Walthill, NE), was nudged 43-37 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Winside Wildcats (Winside, NE)
The Wildcats now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elgin/Pope John for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 14. Winside will battle a Wolfpack team coming off a 59-29 non-league win over Stuart (Stuart, NE). The Wolfpack record now stands at 11-3.
The Blujays (2-8) will now prepare for their battle against Laurel-Concord-Coleridge (Laurel, NE). The Bears come into the non-league battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Laurel-Concord-Coleridge was nudged by Wayne (Wayne, NE), 49-34, in a non-league battle.
