The Galena Grizzlies (Reno, NV) basketball nipped the visiting Damonte Ranch Mustangs (Reno, NV), 33-31 in Thursday's league test.
The Grizzlies (9-7) will now prepare for their test against Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV). The Cougars go into the test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Spanish Springs got by Douglas (Minden, NV), 39-19, in a league test.
The Mustangs now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to McQueen for a test on Tuesday, January 17. Damonte Ranch will encounter a Lancers squad coming off a 34-29 league win over Reno (Reno, NV). The Lancers record now stands at 11-4.
