The Santa Monica Vikings (Santa Monica, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting Mira Costa Mustangs (Manhattan Beach, CA), 30-22 in Thursday's league test.
The Vikings (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Granada Hills Charter (Granada Hills, CA). The Highlanders go into the non-league test with a 8-0 record. In their last test, Granada Hills Charter notched a victory over Palisades (Pacific Palisades, CA), 33-11, in a non-league test.
The Mustangs now own a 11-6 record. They play next when they travel to Redondo Union for a test on Tuesday, January 17. Mira Costa will encounter a Sea Hawks squad coming off a 37-17 league win over Santa Monica (Santa Monica, CA). The Sea Hawks record now stands at 2-0.
