Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Mt. Pleasant Kilties (Providence, RI), 35-25 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Cranston East upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Thunderbolts travel to East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI) to play the Avengers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 18. The Avengers come into the bout with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Kilties play the Chariho Chargers (Wood River Junction, RI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
