Linden Lions (Linden, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Franklin Yellowjackets (Stockton, CA), 30-22 in a league bout.

With the win, Linden upgrades its record to 1-5 on the season. The Lions host Edison (Stockton, CA) to clash with the Vikings in a bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Edison won 39-34 in their recent league bout against Chavez (Stockton, CA)

Next up, the Yellowjackets clash with the West Wolfpack (Tracy, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Franklin will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Wolfpack go into the bout with a 2-8 record after their 72-9 league loss to Lincoln (Stockton, CA).
