The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Clarkdale Bulldogs (Meridian, MS) and the visiting Morton Panthers (Morton, MS), saw Clarkdale's soccer squad knock off Morton by a margin of 3-0.

The Bulldogs now sport a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Pelahatchie for a Class 1 Region 5 test on Monday, January 16. Clarkdale will meet a Chiefs squad coming off a 5-0 league loss to Southeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS). The Chiefs record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Morton drops to 2-7 on the season. The Panthers host Richland (Richland, MS) to meet the Rangers in a non-league test on Monday, January 16. The Rangers come into the test with a record of 15-5. Richland won 8-0 in their recent non-league test against McLaurin (Florence, MS)
