The South Caldwell Spartans basketball squad (Hudson, NC), was tipped 41-35 in Thursday's non-league outing with the visiting Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC)
The Cougars (10-2) will now prepare for their outing against Hibriten (Lenoir, NC). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 7-5 record. In their last outing, Hibriten held off Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC), 60-48, in a non-league outing.
The Spartans now own a 6-4 record. They play next when they host Ashe County for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 17. South Caldwell will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 63-44 non-league loss to Freedom (Morganton, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 6-7.
