The Calaveras Redhawks (San Andreas, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Amador Buffaloes (Sutter Creek, CA), 48-43 in Thursday's league test.

The Redhawks (10-9) will now prepare for their test against Sonora (Sonora, CA). The Wildcats go into the test with a 17-0 record. In their last test, Sonora got by Argonaut (Jackson, CA), 70-28, in a league test.

The Buffaloes now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to Sonora for a test on Tuesday, January 24.
