Providence Day Chargers (Charlotte, NC) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Charlotte Christian Knights (Charlotte, NC), 69-44 in a league bout.

With the victory, Providence Day upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Chargers host United Faith Christian Academy (Charlotte, NC) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 7-3. United Faith Christian Academy lost 72-63 in their recent league bout against Victory Christian Center (Charlotte, NC)

Next up, the Knights play the Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans (High Point, NC) in a bout, on Friday, January 13. Charlotte Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record.
