Heritage Christian Academy Eagles (Hoover, AL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Coosa Valley Academy Rebels (Harpersville, AL), 49-7 in a league bout.

With the victory, Heritage Christian Academy upgrades its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Banks Academy (Birmingham, AL) to play the Jets in a bout on Friday, January 13. The Jets come into the bout with a record of 3-4. Banks Academy lost 40-32 in their recent non-league bout against Tuscaloosa Home Educators (Northport, AL)

Next up, the Rebels play the Cornerstone Christian Chargers (Columbiana, AL) in a bout, on Friday, January 20. Coosa Valley Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record.
