The Palmer Ridge Bears basketball team (Monument, CO), was nudged 54-49 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Discovery Canyon Thunder (Colorado Springs, CO)
The Thunder now possess a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rampart for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 14. Discovery Canyon will battle a Rams team coming off a 57-51 non-league loss to Arapahoe (Centennial, CO). The Rams record now stands at 3-1.
The Bears (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Pueblo County (Pueblo, CO). The Hornets come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Pueblo County was nudged by The Classical Academy (Colorado Springs, CO), 55-41, in a non-league battle.
