The Mountain Heritage Cougars (Burnsville, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC), 46-17 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Cougars (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Rosman (Rosman, NC). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 0-4 record.
The Wildcats now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they travel to Owen for a test on Tuesday, January 17. Draughn will encounter a Warhorses squad coming off a 65-44 league win over Madison (Marshall, NC). The Warhorses record now stands at 2-11.
