In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Strathmore Spartans soccer squad scored a close 2-1 win over the Corcoran Panthers.
The Spartans (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against Orosi (Orosi, CA). The Cardinals go into the East Sequoia battle with a 3-9 record. In their last battle, Orosi nipped Wonderful College Prep Academy (Delano, CA), 2-1, in a league battle.
The Panthers (3-10) will now prepare for their battle against Lindsay (Lindsay, CA). The Cardinals go into the East Sequoia battle with a 12-4 record.
