California High School Soccer - Torres nudges Maywood CES

Torres Toros (Los Angeles, CA) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Maywood CES Wolfpack (Maywood, CA), 3-2 in a league challenge.

Next, the Toros confront the Elizabeth Bulldogs (Cudahy, CA) in a Southern challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Torres will attempt to move on its 10-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 4-2 league loss to Marquez (Huntington Park, CA).

The Wolfpack now possess a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bravo for a Southern challenge on Friday, January 13. Maywood CES will confront a Knights team coming off a 2-2 league Maywood Academy (Maywood, CA). The Knights record now stands at 1-5.
