The A&M Consolidated Tigers (College Station, TX) basketball felled the visiting Montgomery Bears (Montgomery, TX), 57-49 in Friday's league test.
The Tigers (11-11) will now prepare for their test against Magnolia West (Magnolia, TX). The Mustangs go into the 5A Region III District 21 test with a 3-17 record. In their last test, Magnolia West was beaten by Magnolia (Magnolia, TX), 60-57, in a league test.
The Bears now own a 9-16 record. They play next when they travel to Rudder for a 5A Region III District 21 test on Tuesday, January 16. Montgomery will encounter a Rangers squad coming off a 72-61 league loss to Lake Creek (Montgomery, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 11-13.
