In Friday's league match, the visiting Richfield Spartans basketball team scored a decisive 79-46 triumph over the Academy of Holy Angels Stars.
In their next game, the Spartans meet the Kennedy Eagles (Bloomington, MN) in a AAA Section 6 match, on Tuesday, January 16. Richfield will attempt to better on its 5-7 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 3-10 record after their 78-61 non-league loss to Fridley (Fridley, MN).
