Virginia High School Basketball - Amherst County knocked off by Jefferson Forest

The Jefferson Forest Cavaliers basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Amherst County Lancers to 40 in the Cavaliers league triumph on Friday.

The Cavaliers now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Salem for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 16. Jefferson Forest will meet a Spartans team coming off a 76-42 league win over Pulaski County (Dublin, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 6-7.

The Lancers (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty (Bedford, VA). The Minutemen come into the Seminole challenge with a 1-8 record.
