The Wellington Crusaders (Wellington, KS) basketball nipped the host Andale Indians (Andale, KS), 48-42 in Friday's non-league test.

The Crusaders (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Clearwater (Clearwater, KS). The Indians go into the Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail IV test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Clearwater was tipped by Collegiate (Wichita, KS), 65-45, in a non-league test.

The Indians now own a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to McPherson for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 23. Andale will encounter a Bullpups squad coming off a 67-42 non-league win over Mulvane (Mulvane, KS). The Bullpups record now stands at 9-0.
