Ohio High School Basketball - Aquinas can't hold off Lake Center Christian

January 12, 2024: Hartville, OH 44632

The Lake Center Christian Tiger basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Aquinas Knights to 63 in the Tiger league triumph on Friday.

The Tiger now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Canton Central Catholic for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 16. Lake Center Christian will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 76-60 non-league loss to GlenOak (Canton, OH). The Crusaders record now stands at 6-6.

The Knights (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against North (Akron, OH). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 0-11 record. In their last contest, North was nudged by Buchtel (Akron, OH), 81-15, in a league contest.
