The Bacon Academy Bobcats basketball team (Colchester, CT), was overwhelmed 68-44 in Friday's league battle with the host Killingly Redmen (Killingly, CT)

The Redmen now possess a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Putnam for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 17. Killingly will confront a Clippers team coming off a 49-36 league loss to Lyman Memorial (Lebanon, CT). The Clippers record now stands at 4-5.

The Bobcats (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against New London (New London, CT). The Whalers come into the non-league battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, New London was overwhelmed by Fitch (Groton, CT), 84-64, in a league battle.
