The Van Buren Vee Bees basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Beach Channel Dolphins to 57 in the Vee Bees non-league victory on Friday.

The Vee Bees now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Norman Thomas for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 13. Van Buren will battle a Tigers team coming off a 63-61 league loss to Rustin (New York, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 4-10.

The Dolphins (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against John Adams (Ozone Park, NY). The Spartans come into the PSAL AAA Queens II contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, John Adams edged Flushing (Flushing, NY), 69-29, in a non-league contest.
