Nevada High School Basketball - Beatty overwhelmed by Tonopah

The Tonopah Muckers basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting Beatty Hornets to 16 in the Muckers league victory on Friday.
The Muckers now sport a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lone Pine for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 13. Tonopah will battle a Golden Eagles team coming off a 66-56 league win over Immanuel Christian (Ridgecrest, CA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 4-3.
The Hornets (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Spring Mountain (Las Vegas, NV). The Eagles come into the 1A Central contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Spring Mountain was routed by Founders Classical Academy (Las Vegas, NV), 52-37, in a non-league contest.
