Missouri High School Basketball - Dexter can't hold off Bernie

The Bernie Mules basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Dexter Bearcats to 36 in the Mules non-league triumph on Friday.
The Mules now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bloomfield for a Stoddard County contest on Tuesday, January 16. Bernie will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 71-50 non-league loss to Malden (Malden, MO). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-8.
The Bearcats (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Puxico (Puxico, MO). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 11-1 record. In their last contest, Puxico nudged Bell City (Bell City, MO), 82-41, in a league contest.
