The Triad Math and Science Academy Bengals (Greensboro, NC) basketball knocked off the host Bethany Wolves (Summerfield, NC), 56-45 in Friday's league test.

The Bengals (2-9) will now prepare for their test against Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC). The Villains go into the 1A Northwest Piedmont test with a 11-3 record. In their last test, Bishop McGuinness went down by Miller School of Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA), 55-48, in a non-league test.

The Wolves now own a 1-16 record. They play next when they host Carver for a 1A Northwest Piedmont test on Tuesday, January 16. Bethany will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 80-17 league win over Millennium (Mount Airy, NC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 6-7.
