The Buckeye Valley Barons (Delaware, OH) basketball crushed the visiting Bexley Lions (Columbus, OH), 59-38 in Friday's league test.

The Barons (5-7) will now prepare for their test against Grandview Heights (Columbus, OH). The Bobcats go into the Central Buckeye League test with a 5-8 record. In their last test, Grandview Heights was trounced by Columbus Academy (Gahanna, OH), 57-18, in a league test.

The Lions now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Ironton for a non-league test on Sunday, January 14. Bexley will encounter a Fighting Tigers squad coming off a 60-31 league win over Gallia Academy (Gallipolis, OH). The Fighting Tigers record now stands at 8-3.
