With the victory, St. Luke's Episcopal upgrades its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to St. Paul's Episcopal (Mobile, AL) to play the Saints in a non-league bout on Friday, January 12. The Saints come into the bout with a record of 7-12. St. Paul's Episcopal won 58-44 in their recent league bout against Citronelle (Citronelle, AL)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Washington County Bulldogs (Chatom, AL) in a 2A Area 1 bout, on Friday, January 12. Blacksher will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 82-61 league loss to St. Luke's Episcopal (Mobile, AL).
