The Bluffton Bobcats (Bluffton, SC) basketball felled the visiting Hilton Head Island Seahawks (Hilton Head Island, SC), 50-36 in Friday's league test.

The Bobcats (7-8) will now prepare for their test against James Island (Charleston, SC). The Trojans go into the AAAA Region 7 test with a 6-9 record. In their last test, James Island thwarted West Ashley (Charleston, SC), 77-49, in a non-league test.

The Seahawks now own a 4-12 record. They play next when they travel to Lucy Beckham for a AAAA Region 7 test on Tuesday, January 16. Hilton Head Island will encounter a Bengals squad coming off a 66-45 non-league win over Fort Dorchester (North Charleston, SC). The Bengals record now stands at 10-7.
