The Bonny Eagle Scots basketball team (Standish, ME), was toppled 47-35 in Friday's league battle with the visiting South Portland Red Riots (South Portland, ME)
The Red Riots now possess a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Scarborough for a AA South battle on Monday, January 15. South Portland will confront a Red Storm team coming off a 70-53 league win over Sanford (Sanford, ME). The Red Storm record now stands at 9-2.
The Scots (1-10) will now prepare for their battle against Westbrook (Westbrook, ME). The Blue Blazes come into the non-league battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Westbrook was toppled by Windham (Windham, ME), 52-39, in a non-league battle.
