The Lincoln County Patriots (Stanford, KY) basketball nipped the host Boyle County Rebels (Danville, KY), 62-59 in Friday's league test.
The Patriots (9-8) will now prepare for their test against Wayne County (Monticello, KY). The Cardinals go into the non-league test with a 11-2 record.
The Rebels now own a 4-11 record. They play next when they travel to Garrard County for a District 45 test on Tuesday, January 16. Boyle County will encounter a Golden Lions squad coming off a 74-43 non-league loss to East Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY). The Golden Lions record now stands at 4-12.
