The Gloversville Huskies/Dragons basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Broadalbin-Perth Patriots to 55 in the Huskies/Dragons league triumph on Friday.
The Huskies/Dragons now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glens Falls for a Section 2 Foothills contest on Saturday, January 13. Gloversville will meet a Indians team coming off a 74-49 league win over Amsterdam (Amsterdam, NY). The Indians record now stands at 12-0.
The Patriots (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Hudson Falls (Hudson Falls, NY). The Tigers enter the Section 2 Foothills contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Hudson Falls ran past Johnstown (Johnstown, NY), 45-35, in a league contest.
