The Brother Martin Crusaders basketball team (New Orleans, LA), dropped 60-50 in Friday's league battle with the host Edna Karr Cougars (New Orleans, LA)

The Cougars now possess a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Holy Cross for a 5A District 9 battle on Saturday, January 13. Edna Karr will battle a Tigers team coming off a 56-44 league loss to Archbishop Rummel (Metairie, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 12-8.

The Crusaders (14-8) will now prepare for their battle against Jesuit (New Orleans, LA). The Blue Jays come into the 5A District 9 battle with a 20-2 record. In their last battle, Jesuit beat John Curtis Christian (River Ridge, LA), 46-41, in a league battle.
